What is this?

AIFONTIDENTIFIER is a free AI-powered tool that identifies fonts from images. Upload any image containing text — a logo, screenshot, photo, or design — and our AI tells you what font it is and gives you the closest free Google Font alternative.

We built this because existing font finders like WhatTheFont, WhatFontIs, and Font Squirrel upsell expensive paid fonts. We think that's wrong. Designers deserve free tools that give free answers.

How it works

Your image is analyzed by Groq's Vision AI (llama-3.2-11b-vision-preview), one of the fastest and most capable visual AI models available. The AI examines the letterforms, spacing, weight, and overall character of the text to identify the typeface.

Every result includes a free Google Font alternative with a live preview so you can see exactly how it looks before downloading.
